Warwick Executive Search Limited (“The Company”) is a legal executive search firm registered in England under company number 13083846. The company headhunts potential candidates for law firms and in doing so, it is necessary for The Company to process personal data.

What counts as Personal Data
Personal data means any information which will enable you to be identified. Personal data does not include data where the identity of a individual has been anonymised or removed.
How your personal data is collected
We collect information about you from public sources such as law firm websites, LinkedIn, the Law Society or from you directly. We only process information which is relevant to providing our services. This data includes, but is not limited to, your name, contact details, remuneration, details of work experience and career history. We do not collect personal data from our site unless you contact us.
How we store your data
We protect your information by using data storage and security protection measures including additional data security and encryption. Your information will not be shared with any third parties for any purposes other than storage on an email server or CRM unless you give explicit consent for your data to be shared. We will only keep your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes in which it was collected for. If any personal data is transferred outside of the EEA, we will ensure reasonable steps are taken to ensure your personal data is just as secure as it would be within the UK.

We only use the information on our database for legitimate business interests which may include some of the following:

We will not share any of your information with any individual outside of The Company without the explicit consent of the candidate or client unless we are under a legal obligation to do so.
We will always obtain explicit consent (whether written or orally) from a candidate before submitting curriculum vitaes or any other form of application, as appropriate, to a potential employer. Explicit consent is obtained for each and every role.
If there is a breach
Whilst we are confident that the appropriate measures are in place to protect your personal information and that we continue to comply with legal obligations, if your personal information were to be erased or accessed by a third party, constituting a data breach, then we will immediately take the necessary steps which may include notifying you or the ICO.
Your rights
You have the following rights:
to request copies of your personal data.
to ask us to delete any personal data we have.
to restrict the processing of your personal data.
to ask that we rectify any personal data you think is inaccurate or incomplete.
to request the transfer of any personal data you have given us to another organisation, or to you in a computer readable format.
If you have any complaints about the use of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO.
Changes to privacy policy
It may occasionally be necessary to change this privacy policy if we change our business in a way which affects personal data protection or if the law changes. Any changes will be immediately made to this site and we will take your continued use of our site as acceptance of the amended privacy policy.
